Halo 3 question, please answer quick!?

hi i just got Halo 3 yesterday and i was wondering what benefits come from beating campaign other then metals, achievments, and accesories, does my character get any more powerful or anything?

beating the game onn different difficulties can unlock different armours.
like when u get all 13 skulls in the game u unlock hyubusa armour.hyubusa's a ninja in the dead or alive game series

Short answer, No. You don't gain experience and you don't "Level up" in any real way.
