halo 3 question?

my birthday is in a month.I am turning 12.I am getting an xbox 360 for my birthday and the first game i am going to get for it is obviously halo 3.My parents don't really mind about cussing but they are concerned with blood and gore.How much blood and gore is in the game and should i get it if i am only 12?Honestly who cares about the ESRB?

people say alot of blood and gore but i dont even notice it when i play and its not rly a bad game just dont get too addicted

The law is the law, you shouldn't really be playing games rated above your age...but if you insist on it, then I guess it's not massively awful for violence etc, a word of warning though, the game, though truly awesome, is overrated quite a lot, it's not as good as everyone says, trust me, I finished it in six hours, I'm not even that good a gamer....

Just an average amount of blood. The main reason it's rated M is for the language.

there's alot of blood and gore. but some of the things peopl say in there are way worse than anything you'll see. I'd be alot more concerned about what gets said than what gets seen.
