halo 3 question?

so this is really making me frustrated lately.

lets say i have cammo and start shooting at someone. by the time they notice im there im right next to them so we punch at the same time. and most of the time im the one that dies. that doesnt make any sense. it takes 2 punches from the front to kill someone and im at full health and hes at almost none.

this happen to anyone else. and no, it is not lag.
no, straight on.

the person you are hitting probaly has an oversheilf which gives him more health and if not he probably has a bigger weapon like spartan laser or rocket launcher.
