Halo 3 Question?

how do u beat the last Halo 3 mission in legendary mode? I can't get into the control room without dying, and the door and when ur ready to enter the room, ur robot wont open the fn door. I need help, cause im ****ed off at bungie for making it so hard.
I'm playing it in co-op and they wont open the "DAMN DOOR," and then we die.,

The best/easiest/quickest way to beat it is to do it Co-Op mode. Either over xbox live, or with another controller. The more people you have the easier it will get. However with 4 people it is still quite hard.
