halo 3 question...................?

in halo 3 where was the level covenant(the one with the two scarabs)and what was truth going to do there?

with the level halo(last level) why did we activate the ring
(we were always trying to stop this)

i was told truth was going to activate the ring from the covenant level,but wouldint he need to be on the halo ring

during the covenant you are on the ark. truth was here to activate the ring and destroy ALL life. when we detonated the ring we had gotten the guilty spark to jerry rig the ark to only destroy the flood. and the ark has the same powers as one of the rings but it is larger.

alright so the covenant were rebuilding the ring and in the end we just blew it up so they couldn't use it

1. The level "The Covenant" was located on the "Ark" which is another large construction like the halos. Truth was trying to activate the Ark because he thought it would make him immortal but it was really just going to kill everyone.

2. On the last level your characters notice that the Ark is creating a new Halo as a replacement for the one you destroyed in the first Halo. But the humans decide to activate the Halo while it is still being built so that hopefully it will malfunction and destroy the Ark with it, which it does sort of.

3. The Ark is supposed to be able to activate all Halo rings remotely which is why the humans had to destroy the Ark.
