I don't think he is ticklish.If he was, how come he never laughs a bit when he is hit by flood(other than the spore)?How come when he gets a plasma grenade gets stuck to him, he never bursts out laughing if it blew up by his stomach?HE DOESN'T!Exactly.

yeah but because he was trained so hard and tough he would hold in his laughter because emotion is a sign of weekness.
