you need to raise ur skill in the ranked playlist. to skip from lietenter to captain juss raise ur skill to 20 i think. then when u captain grade one get ur skill to 30 and instantly become a major. then to 35 for commander and so on.. u juss need to get the req exp and highest skill

you get grade 2 and so on if you rank up only on experience. if you get a high level in a certain game type, (example: lvl 40 team slayer) you will rank up without the grade attatched.
