Halo 3 Recon or Halo Wars?

I know halo 3recon has everything in halo 3 and more , but does halo wars have forge, custom games, and theater like halo 3. when exactly does halo 3 recon come out anyways, i know halo wars comes out in march 3

I would HIGHLY suggest Halo 3: Recon( now called Halo 3:ODST). But it's mainly up to you. Halo Wars is mostly a strategy game than a RPG like Halo 3. But Halo ODST is an RPG, only with no shields and is considered mostly an add-on because the maps will be the only use.

Okay, well Halo Wars is an RTS (real time strategy) as compared to Halo 3 Recon, which is an FPS. If you're not big in managing units and production, then Halo Wars might not be for you.

However, there are two things which make this a non-issue. The first is that Recon doesn't come out until November-ish from what I understand. Leading to the second point, with all that free time until then, rent Halo Wars and see if you like it enough to own it.
