Halo 3 Skulls?

Ive had the game since the day it came out, not yet have i found one skull.. and i dont know where to began.
first question: Is collecting skulls a good thing or bad thing?
second question: Do i get new armor and unlock GOOD things by collecting the skulls?
third question: Do the skulls NEED to be collected in order, so starting from the "iron skull" and finish with the "mythic skull"?

yea skulls are a good thing. yeah u get new stuff by collecting the skulls. and idk if they need to be in order. have fun =]

Yes collecting the Skulls is a good thing. You get new armor when you collect the Skulls and also you unlock ahievements for collecting the skulls...But if you want to the Best armor called the Hayabusa you need to have all the skulls..
