Halo 3 > Skulls?

Hi, First off im NEW to halo 3, i don't play campaign much, i mainly play multiplayer...
I've been hearing something about Skulls?
just a couple of questions...

What is the reward for collecting these skulls?
Does the reward work in multilayer/campaign? Both?
Any other info would be great too!

Skulls give you more fun in campaign with grunt birthday party,etc.But in multiplayer with skulls they give you different armor.Its worth getting the skulls.Go to youtube or www.gamefaqs.com to find the location of the skulls.I highly recomend it.

the skulls are only in campaign mode of the game, you have to find them allover, the reward is the ninja armor suit for your character that you use on the online multiplayer.

Answer to each question:
What is the reward? You get acheivements for each gold skull, and once you collect every skull you can wear hayabusa armor. (Looks so cool!)

Does the reward work in multiplayer/campaign? Both? You can wear the armor in multiplayer. In campaign, you have no choice of what you look like.

Other info: The skulls must be found on at least medium level, and some are fairly hard to find, try looking for some good guides to finding them all! Also, for future reference remember to get the IWHBYD skull, you only need to jump through the rings in this order: 4, 6, 5, 4, 5, 3, 4

In the campaign, there are 13 skulls. Each one have a different abilty. Each level have one or more. If you collect all 13, you will unlock a new armor 4 multplayer. The skulls DON'T WORK in multplayer(sadly). You can change your appearace by pressing start and then press right on the left stick and go to appearace. You can change armor and other things there. for the skulls you get to turn on different things for campaign mode such as harder enemies, bigger grenade explosions, melee to get shield back. things like that.

it only works in campaign or co-op campaign (xbox live campaign too)

also you unlock different armor for multiplayer and that will show up on xbox live.

there are a bunch of tutorials on youtube on how to get all the skulls which really helped me.
