halo 3 talking why cant i talk to some people?

in halo 3 sometimes ill be playin with a party but i can only hear like 1 or 2 ppl theres almost always 1 person that is talking that i cant hear and he cant hear me and no its not mute.

Sounds like connection issues. Try changing party leader see if that works. Remember if you are in a larger party then you have to use the push to talk.

It's to do with NAT settings.

There are three types of NAT, Open, Moderate and Strict.

Open can connect to anyone a person with an open connection should even be able to hear strict. A person with a moderate connection can hear anyone except strict. And finally a person with a Strict connection can only hear other people with Open connections.

if it keeps happing its a problem wit ur mic. if not the easiest soultion is to leave the party and rejoin or signing out and then signing back in works for all my friends.
