Halo 3 types? Why?

I always have wondered why halo 3 comes in 3 editions? Normal, limited and legendry. Halo 2 doesn't come in 3 editions! Halo combat evolved doesn't! Even halo wars doesn't, it only comes in normal and limited! Yh and i know Halo 3 is the end of the like greatest game trilogy ever but still why not in other ones! The legendry edition comes with a Mark VI helmet cd thing. Why can't halo 2 come with a warthog cd thing? thx:cool2:
