Halo 3: what is the easiest to get the "scoring points" achievements???

i know that you need to turn gold skulls on, and points (duh) but what is the EASIEST way? I've tried it on legendary with 1 skull, but never get it.

can you do it on easy with a lot of skulls on?
if you have the achievements please let me know how you got them.
