Halo 3---Who's ur Daddy Skull how many chances?

I have went for this skull its called like the iwybid skull, its the second skull on the covenant. I have went with my friend like five times to get it and once it came up and my friend got it and ended the game and it didnt give me the skull and the other time i didnt grab it and the last times we've tried it we've gotten the code right everytime and killed everything and it still wont work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know if there is a max number of chances???

No you can get it as many times as you want. Make sure you do it after you killed the one guy, where there is a cut scene. You do not have to kill every flood, i got mine without doing it. Make sure you jump through the right amount of rings and the correct rings, i don't think that the last 6 rings work, i know 8 does, maybe 7 havent tried. The rings kind of light up too, so you should know if you did it right even if the skull doesnt appear.
