halo 3 xbox live help?

i just started halo 3 on xbox live but i have played it before but not on xbox live. i was just wondering if there is a place on halo 3 were i can walk around freely and have other people be there too kinda like runescape, maple story or world of warcraft? if so please tell em how i can get there.

no not really lol unless you can get everyone to stop shooting and just talk or else the postgame lobby is closest to noncombat movement chat you get to the post game lobby after you finish a online game
