halo 3 Xbox Live problem?

i made a second account for halo and started playing a few matches. I won all but one match and it gives me the experience point, but about an hour later it says i'll have zero experience.
any solutions?

Have you quitted any games in the middle if so it takes away a point. Which you probably already knew.

Save the game or there is a memory card prob

it may be something wrong with your connection try un-plugging the modem keep it like that for 15 seconds and then plug it back in or maybe there is something wrong with halo =)
