halo 3 xbox live question?

ok. i just signed up 4 xbox live gold.
how do i get 2 the lobby where other ppl set the settings [map and game type]

every lobby i go 2 its only me.
and ppl have 2 join me.

i wanna join other ppl.....how?

You can't join any lobbies in Halo 3.
What you do is join a matchmaking game with the settings that you want to play.
After the game is finished, then you can choose to party up with other players from the game you just completed who want to play with you.

The only other way to add people to your party BEFORE you play any games is to have them as your friend on yours friends list.

So bottom line, there is no lobby.
