i dont have Halo 3 but i played 1 and 2 and i think that the main thing that makes the Halo series so popular is the multiplayer online mode. there are many weapons that you could use and dual wielding is very interesting. i cant think of something else that makes this game good.

Personally I think its a waist of time. You could be doing so many other things. My brother said he needs to get ride of his xbox because its a distraction.

Well it depends on what type of games you like. If you don't like the war-like saga games, then of course you aren't gonna like it. I never played the first one, but I played H2 and just brought H3 this past weekend! I love it and im gonna get the first one and play it. But from what I played im not sure you can beat it in 2 or 3hrs, I could be wrong. But my take on it is if you could do that, why would you wanna beat it that fast. I buy a game like that cause I enjoy the story line and wanna take my time beating it. So it can take me up to a month to beat a game cause I like stretching it out. But The Halo series, in my opinion and to quote someone im sure you know of, IS "HOT" LOL

I think this is a really fun game to play on xbox live, well that kid that beat it in 3 hrs probably does not have a life. I beat it in like 2 weeks beacuse i got a girlfriend and things to do........but halo3 is a really good game!
