Halo:ODST does it come with a halo 3 disc?

I am a little confused on the subject. I want to know does ODST come with a original halo disc, just with the map on it, or does it mean i should keep my halo 3 original?

You dont HAVE to keep the Halo 3 original to play ODST but that would make the CD with extra maps useless. That part of the ODST is just a bunch of maps that you download for your Halo 3 multiplayer. So, basically, keep your Halo 3 if you want to keep playing MP and want the extra maps.

here's how ODST works, you get two discs when you buy it, the first disc is ODST, it gives you the campaign, firefight, and the theater (saved films) and access to halo: reach beta when it comes. the second disc is the halo 3 multiplayer disc, i.e every single multiplayer map with (obviously) matchmaking, customs, and the forge.
