I have all 3 Halo's and both Gears of War's, I like them all I was just wondering.

Halo or Gears of War?

gears of war is more realistic but more swearing and stuff
halo 3 lags A LOT and is more frustrating, and when you try to go camaign on legendary to get achievements it can send you back to the starting lobby without saving anything
overall, i think gears of war 2 is way funner than halo 3
and avoid gears of war 1 multiplayer...i tried it can it kinda sucked...
and gears of war 2 is VERY brutal and awesome

Either game but to honest Halo 3 is the game to get hands down.
Hey I love GOW but it just doesn't have the online community as Halo does. That's what makes Halo. Its the people that bring the game up to such a high standard of gameplay. I like GOW more for the co-op, it really makes it a better experience. But sometimes I just lose touch with it and I end up playing halo trying to advance to that new rank. I love that Halo updates they're maps. Overall these are amazing games that are a must but you can't beat the halo community, its really put you into a higher gaming experience.

halo, halo was great all round but they ruined it with the map packs
gears of war is just too violent no need for all that blood and gore to be honest

Well personally I would go for Gears of War because you have to use your brain to take someone down. Halo is mostly shoot first, kill first.
If you like to go Rambo with a gun then by all means go with Halo, but if you wish to use tactical strategies and stuff then go with Gears of War.

I like Halo because it's ALOT faster. You can jump into a pack of Covenant or run up and melee an Elite in the face and shot gun to his face.
Gears in alot of walking around and taking cover. The Chainsaw takes like 8 seconds to kill someone and it takes forever when you run into a Troika turret...
