Halo series or Gears of War series?

which video game do you think is better as far as stories, weapons, graphics, main characters, and so on...Please no spoilers

halo and there is a new halo 3 coming out next fall

Gears of War has: Weapons, Graphics and Main Characters by far.
Halo has: story... but hardly.

I personally recommend the Halo series because that's what i've played and always found enjoyable but i've also heard good thing about Gears of War... I guess you can't really go wrong with either series. Although i have heard that the controls on Gears of War are hard but that depends on the gamer. Hope i helped
