Halo Wars - 360 - How do I get Offline Split Screen?

a Friend of mine took his 360 to another friends house. We played Four-Player Shooting each other up. I think it was Halo Wars, Not halo 3. Althought Proof it was halo wars is that he pressed the up button and turned into that bubble thingy. Tell me: How do I get Split Screen I want to play with my sister.
