Halo wars point help?

So when i play halo wars, i always build my army and then go kill the enemy bases. I was wondering if Destroying the individual buildings ( i.e Supply Pads, Reactor) alone gives me more points than killing the entire base at once. All answers will help. Thanks!

I dont think it maters I think you get the same amount no mater what you do, but what I doo is go to there base and destroy all the buildings but not the main base and then wait for them to rebuild and then I go back and do it agein its a fast way to farm points
