Halo Wars Question RTS OR RPG?

I got halo wars on the 360 and my friend keeps saying that it is a RPG?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i know for a fact that it is a RTS game... you decide wich one it it... I lean more twards RTS

It's RTS. RPGs are usually oriented more on a single character/handful of characters and more story-driven. Controlling units and resources are the bread and butter of RTS games.
