Halo wars, to buy or not to buy?

wondering whether to get it just wondering if anyone actually owns the game, and can give me some feedback!

Try the demo. It's up on the Marketplace.
I personally don't care for it. I feel like the storyline is tacky and pretty linear. We don't have developed characters like we had in the canon Halo series (Johnson, Chief, etc.) and the gameplay is nothing to write home about. Maybe I'm not a fan of RTS's maybe I'm not happy with some other company handling Halo, but I do know that I'm not happy with this game.

Not to buy my friend. Its nothing like halo 3. I played the demo and didn't like it at all. Waste of money in my point of view. Besides bungie didn't make it...so yeah

I dont have it but the odd thing about the game is how much it deviates from the old ones. I think they are targeting a new audience. If you liked the old halo you probably won't like this. Its entirely opinion.

to tell you my opinion i would tell you not to buy honestly i have not played it myself but i have seen it being played and i have to say that if you are a big shooter guy like me that i was not impressed, but if you enjoy strategy games than i would suggest it, but in my opinion i would not
