Halo wars: to buy or not to buy?

Is there anyone out there who can convince me why I should buy halo wars? I welcome you to try, and if you do a good enough job I might just buy it... by the way don't use the Halo 3 mythic maps as your main reason because I'm not all that interested in getting them. Can you convince me that Halo wars is a good use of $60?

I probably can't convince u, but a week ago I though exactly the same as you, but when I bought the game I was pleasantly surprised with how accessable and just plain fun it was. Most RTS games require the mind of Sun TZu to play, but halo wars does everything it can to not make you feel stupid when the enemy attack you.

Halo Wars is still a good game though. If you're a big Halo fan like me you would be pleased be to see that the graphics, sound, and story are very much like the Halo trilogy. The cut scenes are very well done, the story is interesting and everything looks, moves and sounds like a Halo game except there is one big problem.

The problem is the actual gameplay and gameplay is the most important part of a game. This is a strategy game and the problem is that to finish the game you don't need to use any starategy whatsoever. You can just blast through the entire game without putting any though into what you're doing which isn't a lot of fun, making the game very simple.

So, I'm not going to convince you to buy Halo Wars because it's really not worth your money or time.
