Halo wars can be called the total opposite of all the other Halos. That does not mean that is going to fail. Halo Wars is a Real Time Strategy game like StarCraft, Command and Conquer and WarCraft (not WoW). Look up vids of the demo on Youtube to see what it looks like.

Can't tell you for myself but there is a really good article about it in February's Game Informer.

It was rated 7.5 out of 10.

And no, It is nothing like all the other Halos. It is an RTS (Real Time Strategy) much like Rise of Nations or Stronghold or LOTR Battle for Middle Earth.
