Help with the Addiction to Halo 3 game

My younger brother seems like he is playing Halo 3 for hours on end, let me rephrase that, he plays the game all day non-stop when my mom and I are both working.
So i come home, and he asks me to play "Team Swat" or check out the maps he made.
It seems like thats ALL he ever does, and if he does go outside he will skateboard for 30 minutes, and start the Halo Campain again.
He's said no to friends that want to play outside when they come to visit.
Something even more annoying is if he sees things being killed, he will comment with "triple kill! OVERKILL!" like if were watching a movie or something...
any tips on how to hitch him off of that dang game without breaking anything?

best thing is to have mom limit it to an hour a day.

he'll **** and moan for the first week, but he'll get over it soon enough.

I'd have to say to take the game away
or give him time to play it, and tell him that's it. You may want your mother to be the one to do this though!

game addiction..ya ya i also had that, you must introduce him to some new things..like some movies of his interest or some cartoons/tv shows he like. And if he plays halo 3 this much just let him finish that game 1 or 2 times he would surely get bored of it.mostly when playing we get adventure which we dont get in our daily life so we always like to be there in that world of fantasy..jst try some new things of his interest and he would surely stop playing it....best of luck!!!
