how can you change your armor color in halo wars?

You can't. Your color is determined by the number of players (or computers) in your game that are the same race (covenant or USNC) as you. For instance as USNC:
1st USNC = green
2nd USNC = yellow
i don't know the order for the rest but there is red, blue, and black.
so to be yellow you need to put 1 other USNC in the game.
Same with covenant except they have different colors.
