how do i now witch terminals i have accessed on halo 3?

i am trying to get marathon man can i start out on a mission at like alpha check piont get the terminal then quit

I'm pretty sure you can just start the mission then quit once you've accessed the terminal. I think that's what I did. But I don't know where you can look to see which you've already accessed.
