how do you defeat a brute with a gravity hammer in halo 3?

method 1: stick him.
method 2: snipe him.
method 3: take a carbine/ BR combo, and continuous headshots, until his armor is depleted, and once the armor is gone, one headshot finishes him off...
method 4: rocket launcher
method 5: "b!tch combo" plasma pistol in one hand, fully charged and a magnum in the other, shoot him with the plasma pistol (fully charged), and one shot to the head with the magnum will finish him off.
all of these are effective just in case you find yourself with any of these, as I don't know what you're skill levels are with each weapon. no0b.
