How do you Duplicate gamertags in halo 3?

I have seen people with 2 of the same gamertag online but one with a (1) at the end, we want to play some halo online but without having to pay for 3 subscriptions! does anyone know how this is done?

Yes, It's a guest account that you saw the guy with a (1) playing off of. Go into a match-making lobby by yourself, and then turn on the amount of other controllers you want to play with. On the lobby's player list it'll give you the option to hit "A" to join, than a list of accounts will appear on the screen, go all the way down to the last one which should say "Guest" and hit "A" to sign-in. You can do this with all 4 controllers if you want. But remember, only the main account that you actually paid for, for Xbox live will earn experience and ranks and stuff.

they are guests halo is one of the games if you friend is over and he/she doesn't have a gamertag they can use a guest profile
