how do you play against other people on halo 3?

yes i have xbox gold and everything needed but cant find out how 2 get to the menu to choose a hosted game or a game against other ppl at all

When your in the menu go to Matchmaking and then click start matchmaking it might take a minute depending on your internet connection.
