In multiplayer Halo 1 & 2 you could hide names by just putting in spaces, that way it was very hard to see the other players and you had to rely on skill.
In Halo 3, is there any way to get rid of the big names that hang over your head and give you away?

You cant have gamertags with no names so that doesnt work. Also the new red vs blue doesn't have the names on so either you can do it, or red vs blue is not true machinima, which defeats the object of red vs blue as it would mean it is now programed rather than acted out with the game.
