I know it depends on experience points and 1-50 rank. But what if my team loses? Do i get negative points? Are more exp. given to MVP's?

the ranks go from private all the way to a 5 star general. The numbers 1 - 50 indicate the skill of the player and are used to boost your rank increase. If you want to be a general and have 50 skill you'll only need a few thousand experience points, but if you have a lower skill like 38 more experience points will be needed.
