How does the health system in Halo 3 ODST work?

Is our stamina considered our shield and that recharges and then we have so much health when our stamina is depleted and can be replenished with health packs? Or are their no shields idk.

You have something similar to shields called Stamina. I hear it's pretty much the same, but recharges slower (Like in Halo 1). You also have health that recharges when you pick med packs, also much like Halo 1.
