Halo Wars shouldn't be compared to Halo 3. If you like FPS's, Halo 3 is better. If you like RTS's, Halo Wars is better. If you like Storyline, Halo 3 is better.

Halo Wars is in no way anything like Halo 3. It is not a first person shooter, it is an rts (real time strategy). So if your looking for a game where you run around guns blazin it will not be Halo Wars

Halo Wars is a Real Time Strategy game, not a First Person Shooter. Halo Wars is where you have an aerial view of the map and you direct groups of soldiers and watch the fighting.
