How long does it take to beat heroic on halo 3?

How long will it take for me to beat it.
I've never played halo 1 or halo 2. But I want to be challenged when I start the game

if ur slow probably a day...
if u think ur so good u can finish it within 24 hours...probably 12-15 hours...unless u just run through everything then about 8-9 hours...I think

heroic is way too easy. play on legendary single player. really intense. i took me about 30 hours to beat it on legendary single player. but only because the level Covenant and Cortana. those two levels are friken hard.
