How to get the mongoose mowdown achievment on halo 3?

I'm trying to get the mongoose mowdown acheivment on halo 3. I was on ranked squad battle and I drove over an enemy with the mongoose and it said i splattered him. I was playing on CTF.

Ok, big difference between ranked match and social match correct. You must run the enemy over in your mongoose in a ranked free for all which the only game type that is ranked and free for all is LONE WOLVES. Have fun in lone wolves trying to get it, takes a bit of practice but best map to do it on is high ground better chances as people try an get shot gun and rockets which are in the open.
