i have the halo 3 special edition xbox 360 and i want to know?

if i can buy a regular 120gb hardrive and put it on the halo 3 xbox cause it comes with a 20gb hardrive

Yes, It will work.
The only thing Special about the the special halo edition is the Color and I think I heard it comes with some special Behind the scene stuff. Not sure though.
