oh, screw them.. my son is 14, and a runescape addict!
Much to his own surprise, he met this girl at school, and he's even gone out with her out side of school.( I help and her mom helps with the driving). It's cool.
But ya know what.. he still plays Runescape, and x box, and game cube, and play station 2.
He rocks to this game Guitar Hero 2, he is just a normal kid, who just happens to also have a girl.BTW, my son LOVES Halo, all of em. I think!
You will too, believe me you will, just let it all happen naturaly, cos when u are looking, it never does.

Don't worry, those things are cooler when you get to college. I was like that also when i was in high school. I felt like a god when the LOTR films and Star Wars prequels came out 'coz everyone was asking me about it.

So don't fret. Most people are just afraid of stuff they don't understand. Specially hormonal kids. You're actually better because they don't have the brains to try and understand the complexity of WoW, Halo, and (most importantly) Star Wars. So don't hate them for it, pity them.

Just don't make your life revolve around WoW, Halo, and Star Wars too much and you'll do fine.
