I need some help with halo 3!!!?

i've been trying to get some help everywhere...everyone says that im not even 16 and that they wont help me because of that. i am 18. so please can someone help me? I've been trying to get the IWHBYD skull but everytime happens the same way...i jump through the rings, the rings start lighting up, i go to get the skull, i pick it up, save and quit but the problem is that ITS STILL LOCKED!!! idk what to do. i need answers please

you need to finish the rest of the level i think ive done it before so yeah i think u need to finish the rest of the level

Jump through the rings, and pick up the skull. Don't save and quit. Continue til the End of the Mission. Once this is completed, you will see it unlocked. I just did this and it was unlocked once I completed the mission and checked.
