if i buy halo 3 in japan will it work on my english xbox 360 elite?

ok,so my brother bought an xbox 360 elite from his navy supplier... but the store they had didnt have any of the halo games... so hes thinking aabout going to a japanese game store and buying a japanese copy... but we are unsure of whether or not it will work... so if any body has ANYidea on this PLEASE HELP!!! thx

Nope-totally different zone and it would be in Japanese anyway.Try to find the game on line,maybe Game Stop.Have a Japanese friend with their games,they won't work on our systems.
