I'm not getting my Halo 3 katana and security armor. why?

my friend had this problem they would be there one day then gone the next. but im pretty sure you have to have all 1000 GT of the original achievements for H3..
the security shoulders an katana are glitched, they will either never unlock, randomly unlock an relock or unlock before you ever did what your sposed to, it sucks, bungie tried to fix it by making security shoulders open to everyone in an update but the katana remains glitched, sry, an my gf got bher katana unlocked without having all the original achievements unlocked so either it glitched for her an not you or yours is being retarded
