In Halo 3 when you know your going to die what is the best thing to do?

I mean like should you throw a grenade, jump and so on.
Also do you recommend shooting with your middle or index finger?

Well something that I've learned to do when I know for a fact that I'm going to die is throw a grenade at my feet and basically 'suicide bomb' the enemy....Its worked like a charm several times....: )

Create land marks, try to die quickly then come back when you are brought back to life. Find the land marker and pick up the granades and good guns that you dropped when you died

go wild and kill as many alien scum as you can or run away from the danger... i would go with kicking ass and try to destroy them all!
