It seems that irregular timouts will occur when playing a match over XBL in halo wars. I had this same problem when playing Age of Empires 3 and seems to occur when I play console RTS games as well. I have had no other trouble with any other genre of game. My router/ modem is a 2wire with SBC Yahoo DSL internet service.
I know the 2wire systems are complete crap, but 99% of the time I have good connection at reasonable speeds. Any reason for these other, more infrequent disconnections? I'm tired of Yahoo customer service as well (it blows to be honest) and they have said it works fine and the signal strength output is 100%.
Any ideas?
