Is French edition Halo 3 usable on English Xbox?

I just bought the french edition and i am wondering if the game will work on my xbox normally with xbox live and stuff

depends where you got it, is your version bought overseas and your xbox is a north american version then no because its region locked and that games version is european. so aslong as you bought it anywhere in north america or whereever you live it will be fine no matter what language. if you want to be use check the side of the game case and see if it says pal ntsc or secam. check for ntsc if you live in north america
