Yes it comes with the online for halo 3 (including new maps), and yes it is worth the money. You get a firefight game which you can play with friends and it is really good fun.
Also the campain you can play with friends and it actually has a really good storyline to it. There is many things on the game for you to unlock.
Basically, if your a halo fan you will LOVE it. If your not a halo fan you could love it or hate it (chances are you will love it

)im not sure but a LOT of people will say "its great and you should buy it" and trust me most halo games were a lot more better but its equal to gaming reviews like Street Fighter 4. also it a first-person shooter and its a lot more fun online and doing story mode by yourself.
