is halo 3 or call of duty 3 appropriate for me?

for my 12th birthday, which is before they switch the standard DVD format to bluray, i wanted to get xbox 360 games. i really like halo 3 and call of duty 3 but will it be suitable for me.

i know halo 3 is rated M but i know the difference between fiction and non-fiction, i usually dont play with the volume up, and im pretty mature for my age.

i also know call of duty 3 is rated T but im allowed to play T games, but this seems like a lot more violence.

are these games ok for me to play and what do you think of the games?
its not that they wont let me play the games but will it be ok and not 10/10 blood and gore

dude your a guy who cares what there rated there both great games get them both
get call of duty 4 and find out how to have people blow up into tires. its a cheat

Both Games have fair amounts of violence but they are fun and at your age you can probably play them.
