Is halo wars a good game?

Oh yeah, It's really cool.
My fiance just bought it yesterday.
He LOVES it and he is VERY picky about games.
There are a lot of bad@ss weapons and upgrades.
The whole game is like an overhead view of the battle field
You control your whole army and wipe out all those ugly things.
And the cut scenes are great.
Their words actually match up with their lips.
And the graphics are stunning.
You'll like it - go buy it.

No, go play an RTS for the computer. There's a reason most RTS' come out for the PC and it's called the mouse. The demo for the 360 had its upsides like amazing graphics and cool gameplay elements, but the whole controlling an army thing isn't really all that fast, or easy with a controller.

If you can't play a games like Starcraft, or Warcraft 3 then there are plenty of other RTS' that beat Halo Wars hands down.

My recommendation, wait a few months for Starcraft 2 and for now spend $8 on the original SC or $30 on a newer game.


If you're still adamant about not getting a PC game, then I would Recommend: Tom Clancy's End War, if the voice command works and you don't mind kinda looking like a tool you can control it with your mic.
